Wear Red to Work!

 

Go Red for WomenThe EAN will once again participate in the American Heart Association’s Wear Red to Work Day on Friday, February 6, 2015. Wear red to work and help to raise awareness and funds for the American Heart Association. Last year, the EAN was able to donate $1,000 to the American Heart Association to help fight heart disease. Let’s challenge ourselves to do raise even more this year!

EAN Participates in National Wear Red to Work Day!

The EAN participated in the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the American Heart Association’s Wear Red to Work Day on Friday, February 7, 2014. EAN members wore red to work and helped to raise awareness and funds for the American Heart Association. The EAN was able to donate $1,000 to the American Heart Association to help fight heart disease.

EAN Participates in Mayor’s Treasure Chest

The Education Association of Nutley participated in the Mayor’s Treasure Chest once again this year. The Mayor’s Treasure Chest is a gift giving program for Nutley families in need. This year the members of the EAN ran a Denim Day and collected $1,200 for the program. EAN Executive Board and Barbara Buono at Fall Focus

The EAN Executive Board attended the NJEA Fall Focus for Essex county on October 16th.  Barbara Buono addressed the crowd and spoke about her background and her commitment to public education.  Having grown up in Nutley, she reminisced with the executive board about  growing up and going to school in Nutley.  For more information about Barbara Buono, where she stands on the issues, and how to pledge your support, visit the NJEA.org and Garden State Forward.com.
